Congratulations!

Congratulations to all who participated in the Rollerblade 10K Challenge or the 3rd Annual Skater’s Quest Inline Trail Marathon on Saturday. We owe a big thanks to our volunteers – Skater’s Quest instructors Carol Patch & Nora Kennedy. We also want to thank our generous sponsors, Rollerblade and Rudy Project who supplied lots of great prizes.

If you couldn’t make it on Saturday, we hope you can join us next year for our Spring and Fall Fitness Inline Training (FIT) Programs as we prepare for the Skate of the Union in June and the Skater’s Quest Inline Trail Marathon in the fall.

In the meantime, there is still time to work on your skating skills this Saturday. We will be at Jones Point Park in Alexandria, VA from 10-11 AM with the following Group Lessons:

  • Balance (BAL) – We provide lots of drills both on and off skates to help with your balance. This lesson is a great one to repeat regularly to reinforce your skills
  • Edging – We will spend lots of time getting comfortable on our inside and outside edges. It’s always a good idea to practice on your edges for your overall skating!

Register at skatersquest.com.

As the weather becomes colder, our outdoor lessons will be slowing down. If you have specific requests, please be sure to let us know. Also, stay tuned for indoor skate specific training coming soon.
