It’s Summer! Let’s Skate!

Happy July!

We hope this finds you healthy and taking the time to enjoy the outdoors on your skates. Here are some updates from Skater’s Quest:

Are you ready to get out of the parking lot? We have a small pop-up Beginner Street/Trail Skating Group Lesson scheduled. Please join us on Sunday, July 12th at 1:30 PM for an instructor led street & trail lesson where you will learn how to tackle the common obstacles found when skating in the real world. This is a great lesson to get you ready for a street skate with Washington Area Roadskaters!  Check out the video by Andrew Barabasz from our last Street/Trail Skating Group Lesson:

  • DATE: Sunday, June 12, 2020
  • TIME: 1:30 pm
  • MEETING LOCATION: Jones Point Park near bathrooms
  • DROP-IN COST: $25.00 or use your package for a discount
  • REGISTER: Trail 3 (T3) Group Lesson
  • NOTES: In addition to your inline skates and protective equipment, please be sure to bring your mask.

Over 70 inline skaters, quad skaters and cyclists participated in the 17th Annual Skate of the Union! All went the distance while keeping their distance to celebrate Olympic Day and to support Team USA and the inner city kids of DC Inner City Excellence. Thanks to all who participated!
